Ambition
We provide pupils with an excellent computing education that gives them both the skills and knowledge they need and the creativity to understand the technologically changing world.
We take online safety incredibly seriously. Our work with pupils equips them with the knowledge and skills that they need to stay safe online, while supporting them in the digital world.
Implementation
Our computing curriculum develops pupils’ knowledge, understanding and application of computer skills. We cover a breadth of skills and topics through digital literacy, information technology and computer science to explore key strategies and methods.
Through the use of different gadgets, applications and online resources, we make sure pupils learn the skills needed to use the internet and technology safely while at the same time building on previous knowledge and understanding.
Impact
Our pupils build on the breadth of knowledge and understanding of computing and safety, so they leave us as competent and safe IT users. They are successfully able to interact with the world around them and draw upon the many benefits technology can bring to our every day.
